Here is what we are going to talk about, prayer as it relates to a relationship with me, Jesus. Prayer is a gateway as you call it, prayer opens doors in much the same way as conversation opens doors to relationships in your world. Prayer is essential to a relationship with me. Prayer is the way you reach out to me and only if you reach out to me can we connect. Many will not know I am there, many will not feel that I am with them as you do Michele, still I am asking them to reach out to me in prayer, everyday. In these times it is important so as not to be deceived.
I have taught you how to pray the prayer, you Michele have said many times. Please find it in the Bible and share it here;

9 .) After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10.) Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11.) Give us this day our daily bread.
12.) And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13.) And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Beyond what I have taught you in the Bible I want to ask that you talk to me, like little children, talk openly I am YOUR Jesus, I am YOUR Savior, I died for you because I love you. Please tell them this Michele, they can not hear of this enough. Because I love you I want to hear all that is on your mind, share with me what is in your heart. Nothing is too big or too small to bring to me.
Lastly, many of you are tired, many are burdened with great struggles. Too many of you try to carry these burdens alone. Bring them, all of your burdens to Me. Offer these sufferings up to Me; in this way you help me carry My Cross, I will help you carry yours.
